Other general information….. I have had Reb since 8 weeks old. I only live 20 minutes from Clint so I have spent considerable time the past 5 years training with him. He has field trial experience in both UKC and AKC venues. At age 1 Reb placed 1st in an AKC amateur walking derby, against all other American Brittany’s. 3 months later he repeated with a 1st place in amateur walking derby, and 1 week later he placed 2nd in amateur walking derby. At an early age Reb showed his ability to range out in control and produce excellent bird contact. In the UKC field trial venue, Reb has placed multiple times at various levels. At 18 months of age, Reb received CAG 1st place liberated GUN class at Jackie Hutwagner’s trial in Georgia. On the second day Reb received CAG 1st place Wild GUN class, and was the only dog to have bird contact on that day. I have hunted with Reb in Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Georgia, and Alabama. He has high game drive, very stylish point, he covers ground beautifully, quarters in range, is very biddable and hunts for me. The past two years I have been Professionally guiding upland hunts at Harpole’s Heartland Lodge in Southern Illinois, an Orvis Endorsed hunting lodge. Reb very quickly became a guest favorite due to his enthusiastic approach and his discipline to point/hold birds until I flush and release him. So many of the other guides dogs bust birds before hunters have a chance to get in shooting position. At home, he is simply apart of the family. He never lets me out of his sight and will lay in my lap or on his cot just as long as he is in the same room as us.
